What better way to see how an internal combustion engine works than to be able to see all of the parts move! As you turn the crank, each of the parts move, just like the real thing. The Visible V8 Engine features moving pistons and connecting rods. A hand crank operates the pistons, camshaft rocker arms and valves. The kit includes a rubber fan belt and vinyl ignition wires. Where can i get ford explorer parts?
i am in australia and i have a 1997 ford explorer was backing out of the drive way and the reverse bank snapped and now we have no reverse it has been like that for the last 3 years, is there any where i can get a reverse band to fix it well hubby can fix it, even if you are in the states preferably los angeles and how much are they thanks all............
a transmission shop can sell you the parts or fix it for you...

i think it is part of ford-maybe ford of australia
it was not an engine series 385-those engines were not even thought about back then, the engine series that were present back then were the Y block (239 ohv-not flathead-272-292 and 312 ) and the F.E. block--fe being the chem. chart id for iron which consisted of 332-352 at that time. mel stands for mercury/edsel/lincoln and only existed on paper from mid 1957 until sept of 1960
